Board Member

Bill Parkinson was born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia. He earned his BS in Computer Science from Drexel University and an MS in Computer Science from Villanova University. He and his wife Kathleen have lived in Havertown since 1991. He has been a software consultant for his entire career and has run his own consulting business for over 25 years. Bill also serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Managers of the Friends of the Grange. Bill has been active in the community coaching Softball and Soccer when his children played. He has also had various leadership roles in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. A music fan since childhood, Bill has also been an avid musician and live sound engineer. He has volunteered for many Kelly Music events and currently hosts Open Mic Nights at the Kelly Center. Bill can often be found at Kelly Center bluegrass jams and camping out at summer music festivals for which he also volunteers. Every holiday season Bill leads a group of volunteers who set up a fabulous model train layout for the public at the Grange Estate.
