IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HAVERTOWN, PA –Kevin Nolan has been named Grand Marshal for the 7th Annual Havertown Irish Festival. Kevin is the Chairman and Founder of Nolan Painting, a Havertown based painting contractor and one of the largest in the Philadelphia area. Kevin will lead a Procession of Dignitaries at 1:00 pm to kick off the main stage performances.
According to Irish Festival Director Tom Kelly, “Over the years, very few companies have sponsored and supported community events like Nolan Painting. Recently retired, Kevin Nolan has handed company responsibilities over to his children and finally has time to walk with us at the festival.” Nolan responded, “In great communities everyone works together and contributes to make them great. In Havertown we all share that common unity that makes it a wonderful place to work, live and raise a family.”
Kevin Nolan started Nolan Painting in 1979. Since its founding, Nolan Painting has grown into one of the nation’s largest and employee based, family owned, residential painting companies. Nolan Painting has supported hundreds of community organizations through its “Nolan In the Neighborhood” initiative. Nolan Painting has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the American Cancer Society by organizing and presenting the Reindeer Romp 5K, an annual tradition in Havertown. Nolan Painting has also supported the Irish community by hiring and training scores of Irish painters throughout the region.
Kevin Nolan is an author, most recently publishing the book Organizational Muscle in 2023. Kevin’s four adult children are all actively working in the business. Kevin is also an Ironman and an endurance athlete. A career highlight was running a marathon in each of the 50 states.
